Pescheria i Masenini
The Piazzetta Pescheria, although it is outside the main tourist circuit, is one of the most beautiful places in Verona. In ancient times, as the name suggests, was used as a fish market. Today is one of the most intimate places of the city, close to the river Adige.
Here, in September of 2009, first opened its doors the fish tavern "Pescheria i Masenini" A local, staffed by young, with a goal: to bring the fish on the tables of Verona, maintaining a simple and traditional cuisine.
Inside, the wood paneling and the warm colors of the walls, mixed with the kitchen at sight, make the atmosphere welcoming, blending classic and modern style.
A new challenge for the chef Elia Rizzo, two stars Michelin, who wants to repeat the success of the "meat" version of this restaurant, the already renowned Trattoria i Masenini. A possible venture, with the help of his two young partners Blendi (in the room) and Michael (the chef).
